About Marcia

The moment I stepped on a stage at seven years old, I knew I had found my true calling. But little did I know then that requesting a pile of real dirt for my big song as Piglet in Winnie-the-Pooh was just the beginning of creating authentic moments for audiences for years to come.

After graduating from UCLA, I was very fortunate to work with William Ball at the American Conservatory Theatre while earning my master’s degree. It was there I had mentors like Peter Donat, DeAnne Mears, Sydney Walker, and Annette Bening to teach and inspire me. That foundational acting training led to a thriving artistic life in the Bay Area, and while raising two boys, I was able to shoot commercials, industrial films, TV, record voiceovers, and work at every top Equity theater in Northern California. I also ran a home vocal studio, teaching hundreds of young people how to find their authentic singing voices.

Now that my youngest son has finished college, I’m bringing my passion and training fully back to the stage, where I look forward to the challenges and rewards of creating authentic roles in meaningful productions.
